“Very early in my chiropractic career I discovered Specific Upper Cervical chiropractic care.  The clarity of decision-making in regards to what and how I was adjusting, along with the non-invasive, non-traumatic nature of the force attracted me immediately to the technique.  The upper-cervical area of the spine – where the brain stem becomes the spinal cord – is the most vital area neurologically, immunologically, and in overall homeostasis.  In other words, it is the switchboard for your body.  Anything we can do to minimize or eliminate interference at this site will have the single biggest impact on your body’s ability to restore and maintain health.

My approach to the practice of chiropractic is three-sided:  I am committed to the art, the science, and the philosophy of this profession.  I have always felt that Upper Cervical care in general and the Grostic technique in particular serve to blend the scientific and artistic aspects.  The required specificity of x-ray taking and analysis grounds me in science, while the physically demanding adjustment is my art.  These, along with my philosophical belief that everything you need for health is inside your body – that health comes from within – completes the triune of quality chiropractic care.”
